Radon Testing
Resource One Radon Services offers both long term and short term (used in most Real Estate transactions) measurement testing.
Short term test are from 2 to 90 days. Our primary short term testing devices are Continuous Radon Monitors (CRM) that record hourly variations or Charcoal Canisters. A report is generated from the CRM at the conclusion of the test and left with the client as well as up to three other parties by your request. This is helpful in any Real Estate transaction.
Long-term tests remain in your home for more than 90 days. Alpha track and Electret detectors are commonly used for this type of testing. A long-term test will give you a reading that is more likely to tell you your home's year-round average radon level than a short-term test.
Radon Mitigation
Resource One Radon Services offer many different mitigation techniques that are suited best for your application or construction of your home. We keep the appearance and aesthetics of your home in mind when designing the most energy efficient and effective radon mitigation system. We follow all local building, electrical and fire codes as well as the EPA, NEHA & NRPP mitigation standards. All Resource One Radon Services mitigation systems are backed with a 3 year guarantee in writing (see associate for details). All work is proposed in writing before the job begins. So you as the home owner, can feel comfortable knowing exactly what is to be installed.
